[Scivita Medical] Highlights on “Scivita Medical Navigates Medical Innovation” Scivita 4K Ultra-High Definition Laparoscopy in Pediatric Surgery Seminar

On October 18, 2020, the online meeting of “Scivita Medical Navigates Medical Innovation” Scivita 4K Medical Ultra-high-definition Laparoscopy in Pediatric Surgery Seminar sponsored by Pediatric Surgery Branch of Guangdong Medical Association and undertook by Guangzhou Women and Children’s Medical Center was successfully held. The conference focused on how to effectively use endoscopy to solve common surgical problems in pediatric surgery. Pediatric surgeons all over the country actively participated in the conference, with online viewers over 6,000 people. Especially in the Q&A session, everyone enthusiastically discussed their clinical puzzles with online experts and benefited a lot.

Professor Yu Jiakang, the president of the conference, introduced: "This seminar focuses on the common surgical problems of endoscopy in pediatric surgery. Famous experts from all over the country share their experience in treating diseases such as complex anorectal malformation, duodenal atresia, bronchial foregut malformation, biliary atresia and esophageal atresia by using endoscopy."

Professor Zhou Chonggao, Professor Zhong Wei, Professor Li Xinning, Professor Wang Bin and Professor He Qiuming brought special reports entitled "Application of Laparoscopy in Duodenal Anastomosis", "Application of Endoscopy in Complex Rectal Anomaly", "Case Sharing of Bronchial Anterior Intestinal Malformation", "Application of Laparoscopic Surgery in Early Diagnosis and Treatment of Biliary Tract Atresia" and "Endoscopic Treatment of Complex Esophageal Atresia" respectively. Professor He Qiuming also showed the video of surgery using Scivita 4K medical ultra-high-definition endoscope in the report, and introduced that with the 4K image quality, it can clearly see the tissue level during the operation, making the suture more accurate. The smoke removal function of Scivita 4K can also help doctors observe the operation images when using energy equipment, and reduce the influence of smoke exhaust on the operation. Finally, Professor Yu Jiakang, President of the Conference, Deputy Director of Surgery and Director of Neonatal Surgery of Guangzhou Women and Children’s Medical Center, introduced that the 4K medical ultra-high-definition endoscope of Scivita Medical is the first 4K endoscope with FDA certification in China, and is good in application after trial use in its hospital.
