[Scivita Medical] Professor Yao Shuzhong and Professor Han Yubin Visit Scivita Medical

In May 2020, Professor Yao Shuzhong, Director of Gynecology Department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University, and Professor Han Yubin, Director of Gynecology Department of Foshan First People’s Hospital, visited Scivita Medical for learning and information exchange. We jointly had in-depth discussions on the application and development of optics, imaging and other technologies in clinical gynecology.

Professor Yao Shuzhong, as the Deputy Head of the Gynecological Endoscopy Group of the Chinese Medical Association Obstetrics and Gynecology Branch, focuses on the treatment of benign and malignant gynecological tumors by gynecological endoscopic surgery. He presided over and participated in the National Natural Science Foundation of China and research projects at all levels, and has published more than 100 academic papers and special lecture articles. His invention of "Yao's uterine lifting device" won the national utility patent. He was responsible for the "Application of Laparoscopy in the Diagnosis and Treatment of Gynecological Diseases" research project, which won the second prize of Guangdong Science and Technology Progress Award.

As a standing member of the second committee of the Professional Committee of Guangdong Provincial Health Management Society, Professor Han Yubin participated in the compilation of many academic monographs and wrote many medical papers. He has undertaken multiple research projects at the provincial and municipal levels in Guangdong, and has won the third prize of Guangdong Science and Technology Progress Award and the first prize of Foshan Municipal Government's Science and Technology Achievements.

The two professors experienced our 4K ultra-high-definition endoscopic camera system and 3D image imaging system. They gave us a high degree of recognition in product image processing and technological innovation capabilities. The two sides reached a consensus to pursue further medical and industrial cooperation.

After having an in-depth communication about clinical and technical, Professor Yao agreed to work together with Scivita Medical to develop a new type of therapeutic hysteroscope, which is expected to benefit more patients.
