April, the most beautiful season in southern China. On April 10, 2025, a salon meeting focusing on "the diagnosis and treatment of urinary system diseases" was enthusiastically held in the academic conference room of Xinguangwei Medical Headquarters.

From April 11th to 13th, 2025, the FIS2025 Academic Forum on Key Issues in General Surgery was grandly held in Nanjing, the ancient capital of six dynasties. The forum was jointly organized by the Journal of the Chinese Medical Association, the Organizing Committee of the China Academic Forum on Key Issues in General Surgery, and the English Edition of the Chinese Medical Journal. With the theme of "Focusing on the forefront, standardizing improvement, innovative development, and win-win cooperation," more than 450 experts and scholars in general surgery were invited to exchange ideas and discuss academic topics. The aim was to improve the clinical diagnosis and treatment level and research capabilities of general surgeons nationwide and to promote the integrated development of multiple disciplines.
